Postcards of Gibraltar. C.1910-20.

Postcards of Gibraltar. C.1910-20. 8 in all. Never posted: they have slight indentations to the corners where they’ve been in an Edwardian album. Consequently, they’re all in good condition.
I don’t know whether or not the views have changed because I don’t know Gibraltar but the postcards are more than 100 years old so some places must be different.
On the back is printed: Benzaquen & Co., Gibraltar. Printed in England.
I have lots more postcards to list in this website, Hungarian postcard, 1922. for example. Most of my cards are British but many are not and I intend to list more foreign cards over the next few weeks.
Looking for external links on the internet, I was surprised by the large number of postcards listed by http://onlineshop.oxfam.org.uk

These postcards of Gibraltar are not real photographs. They’re coloured lithographs made from black and white photographs.
I bought these recently from my friend in Kent who brings me bundles of cards, pictures and books to my house. I spend happy hours going through everything. Some things are from his grandfather, others are from various family houses and others are things he’s bought- he is a dealer, after all. I don’t often ask him where things are from: sometimes he tells me and sometimes he can’t remember. Sometimes he even says:”I bought this from you.” The postcards tend to be a mixture of those which he’s inherited and those which he’s bought over the last 50 years.
