David Theobald has been dealing for over 40 years, more than 30 of which were from his Gabor Cossa Antiques shop, directly opposite the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge.

Gabor Cossa shop was crammed with small antiques, mostly ceramics, from the 1780s to the 1860s, ephemera and collectibles. 

David always offered a very warm welcome to those who visited the shop and continues to do so to antique hunters around the world via the Gabor Cossa website and at antiques fairs around our region.

Prices for postage & packing to UK, Europe or USA can always be obtained by contacting us and we may dispatch to some other countries, please ask in your enquiry.
Postage will always be charged at cost. I hate posting delicate things.

Wright Brothers’ Biplane postcard, postmarked 1913. Embossed chromo-litho. Raphael Tuck. “Processed in Saxony.” Condition: good but scuffed in the corners and one edge. A bit of staining to the bottom edge and a smudge from another postmark in the top LHC. This can all be seen clearly in the photos.

Wright Brothers’ Biplane postcard, c.1910. Book Post. Opens to reveal fold-out of views of Camborne, Cornwall. 4.75×2.5 inches. The condition overall is very good. The fastening piece is missing where the tongue should go and this can be seen in the photos. Has never been posted.

I think I’d like to keep these 3 together. They are very similar and I bought them together. They’ve never been mounted in an album and they are in excellent and original condition apart from “A Sweeping Advertisement” which has some damage to the ‘lace’ paper, which I’ve photographed.
