Hanwell and Southall cricket team.

Hanwell and Southall cricket team. I’m making various assumptions about this postcard. Nowhere does it say that it’s a cricket club but the clothes look like it to me. Perhaps someone will recognise the badge or the names of the team members printed on the front. The badge is quite distinctive. It looks like a horse and rider going uphill but I don’t recognise it.
On the back is printed: “Published by T. Bolland. Photographer. Hanwell, W. & Southall.”
Nowadays, both Hanwell and Southall are amalgamated with Ealing, part of West London.
The postcard has never been posted and is a little shabby. There are creased corners and some foxing, especially to the back. Nevertheless, I thought it was interesting.
I’ve had postcards before by this publisher/photographer. He must have specialised in posed photos. of sporting clubs.
I can’t remember where this came from but I know that there was no provenance. I think it came with other, similar, cards of sporting clubs. Ebbw Vale postcards. for instance.
Most of them sport magnificent moustaches but that’s not enough to make me keep the card i.e. it’s not from my own collection but it’s been around for a while.
