Australian debentures 1890s.

Australian debentures 1890s. These are Debentures from: “The Anglo-Australian Investment Finance & Land Company limited of Sydney.” Some of the debentures have been cut off and one has been pasted back on – bottom LHC (for 1893).
The sheet measures 18 x 18 inches when opened out and 12 x 9.25 when folded.
I thought that these had been consigned to history but, looking online, I see that they are very much still used to raise money.
This is from 1890, so I don’t suppose they have any face-value today.

I don’t know much about these. I bought them in a great pile of ephemera from a retired dealer. The printing is of high quality. I see some for sale on the internet so they’re not major rarities but, nevertheless, I think they’re interesting. I thought that perhaps they were especially interesting because they are Australian debentures but perhaps there are a lot around. Share certificate from the Yangtse Valley Company, 1914. is another piece of historic clutter listed on my website. I seem to have a few of these certificates and other documents so I must like them.
There are a lot for sale on http://eBay.co.uk but the prices seem all over the place. I imagine that some are rare and others are common but I don’t know which are which.
